ORA, the Osaka Restaurant Management Association, launched the “‘Food’ × ‘Expo’ Ticket Giveaway Campaign” during the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The campaign aimed to connect dining experiences with interest in visiting the Expo. It was held in cooperation with ORA’s “UTAGE Campaign” and allowed restaurant visitors to win Expo tickets through a digital experience.
Participants visited selected restaurants in Osaka Prefecture and scanned QR codes displayed inside the stores to receive original digital badges. By using the badges to enter a digital gacha draw, they had the chance to win ticket vouchers for the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The campaign was designed to increase interest in the Expo through everyday dining.
HashPort supported the entire process using the “Token Discovery Program” in the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet, covering QR code scanning, badge distribution, and the gacha draw. The simple and intuitive design made it easy for anyone to join, even first-time app users.
Through this campaign, everyday dining became a gateway to building excitement for the Expo. It also created a new model for digital engagement across the restaurant industry.
