HashPort is developing its business as a solution provider that supports the social application of blockchain with the mission of “digitizing all assets”. We provide new cryptocurrency listing-related services and consulting services to many companies in Japan, including cryptocurrency exchange companies. We also provide accelerator programs to support the success of leading overseas blockchain projects in Japan and have succeeded in deploying many projects in Japan.

Wallet System Business for Cryptocurrency Exchanges

We provide a cryptocurrency wallet management system for cryptocurrency exchange companies with the highest security level in Japan.

In the private key management of cryptocurrencies, we will realize security and availability by utilizing our knowledge based on long operational experience.

Wallet Development and Operation

Introduced wallet system to 3 domestic registered cryptocurrency exchange companies. We have realized a completely offline cold wallet in which the private key does not come into contact with the online environment via a digital terminal.We can also make proposals for operations including trading systems based on our accumulated operational experience with full node updates and hard forks / soft forks.

Research and Development

An engineering team with blockchain development experience, mainly from the University of Tokyo, is developing algorithms based on academic papers, and is conducting research and development of infrastructure that can move digital assets instantly and without friction.

NFT Platform Business

We provide a blockchain platform system for issuing, managing and distributing NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

In March 2020, we established Hashpalette Inc. as a joint venture with Link-U Inc., a content company listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and launched the consortium blockchain “Palette”.

Blockchain Consulting Business

In the blockchain consulting business, we provide system audits on the reliability of blockchain products and cryptocurrencies, and consulting when Japanese cryptocurrency exchanges list cryptocurrency not approved by the Financial Services Agency.

In particular, we have a top-level track record in Japan for auditing new cryptocurrency for which strict standards have been set by the Financial Services Agency.

    Mr. Yoshida joined a strategy consulting firm. He has engaged in projects in the areas; healthcare, consumer goods, and internet services. In 2016, Mr. Yoshida joined The Boston Consulting Group. At BCG Digital ventures, he was the youngest venture architect at the Tokyo office. He engaged in investment and business development work in both Japan and China. LLB, Keio University.

    Mr. Umeda joined AI inside Inc. in November 2017, succeeding with the Sales Manager position at Mizuho Bank, Ltd.. After being in charge of sales projects and execution, he was appointed as the CRO / General Manager of the development division at the same company since April 2019, engaging in sales, alliance and customer success.

    Born January 25, 1984. Engaged in M & A advisory work at PwC Advisory from 2007 to 2012. Since 2012, he has been in charge of accounting audits for listed companies at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, and has also been in charge of accounting audits before and after IPOs and internal control support operations for listing preparation companies, including IPO issue investigations. Since 2017, he has been mainly engaged in accounting audits and segregation management audits for the cryptocurrency exchange business, making rules regarding accounting audits in the industry, attending industry groups, and conducting sales activities. After that, in January 2021, he established FRIQ, an audit firm specializing in venture companies, and became a representative partner. He is a graduate of Keio University Faculty of Economics.     Tomotaka (“Tommy”) Goji is Co-founder, Managing Partner, President & Representative Director of The University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners Co. Ltd.
    (known as “UTEC”), and Managing Director of Japan Venture Capital Association (JVCA).

    Since the inception of The University of Tokyo Edge Capital Co. Ltd. (previously known as UTEC) in April 2004, he has raised and managed four funds totaling over JPY 54 billion (Approx. USD 500 million), built the team, and guided investments, value-up and exits of UTEC portfolio companies. 12 of UTEC portfolio companies were acquired and 13 went public.

    These UTEC funds are established on the premise of the Japanese law called “The Limited Partnership Act for Investment” that he authored to enact in 1998 at the then Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI, now known as METI: the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and became the foundation for Japanese venture capital funds thereafter.

    Tommy was selected to speak on panels in Davos, Switzerland for Japan’s Prime Minister Office in February 2018, and in Geneva, Switzerland for United Nations UNCTAD World Investment Forum in October, 2018.

    Born September 7, 1958. Worked for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation from 1982 to 2017. From April 2010 to March 2015, he was appointed as Executive Officer, Managing Executive Officer, General Manager of Asia / Pacific Headquarters, and Senior Managing Executive Officer (Member of Management Council) in April 2015. He was the Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Card from May 2017 to June 2019. He established Shimura & Partners in July 2019 based on his experience and achievements in Southeast Asia and FinTech, and became the representative director. He is currently an outside director of BASE CO., Ltd., MedPeer, Inc., bitFlyer, Inc., and also an advisor to CAMPFIRE, Inc., RENOVA, Inc., etc. He is a graduate of the University of Tokyo Faculty of Economics.
