HashPort joined the Japan Security Token Offering Association (JSTOA).
HashPort Inc. (Minato-ku Tokyo, Founder: Seihaku Yoshida, referred to as “HashPort”) is pleased to announce that join the Japan Security Token Offering Association (JSTOA) as a supporting member.
The Association is a self-regulatory organization accredited by the Financial Services Agency as an “Accredited Financial Instruments Business Association” in accordance with Article 78, paragraph 1 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.
Through its self-regulatory activities, JSTOA aims to ensure fair and smooth transactions of security tokens, including the right to transfer electronic records, and to “protect investors and ensure the sound development of the financial instruments business,” as well as promoting “the vitalization of financial and capital markets, the development of advanced industries, and the maintenance of global competitiveness” and striving for publicity and awareness of security tokens.
